Senior Frontend Developer (Gaming)

We are looking for a Front-end Developer who will be fully dedicated to our gaming project. We seek someone who not only excels at coding but also actively proposes innovative solutions and eagerly shares their knowledge. Location

This offer targets candidates from Tricity (Gdańsk, Gdynia, Sopot) or nearby areas

We do not require constant presence in the office, but the candidate should be available for on-site visits twice a week

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience (not a strict requirement – your skills matter most)
• Ability to suggest and logically justify front-end solutions
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to share knowledge with the team
• Openness to learning new languages and technologies when needed
• Willingness to contribute to backend development in C# in a limited capacity
• Interest in the visual aspects of web development
  
  Processes & Business Understanding:
• Experience with Agile methodologies,
• Ability to estimate task complexity,
• Focus on business needs and product goals.
  
  Front-end Development:
• React
• TypeScript
• Understanding of popular browser APIs (MDN Web API)
• HTML & CSS, ability to translate Figma designs into UI
• Implementing responsive user interfaces
• Experience with graphics and animations in browsers (e.g., games, graphic editors, animations, and shaders – beyond standard UI development)
  
  Nice to have:
• Knowledge of browser rendering engines (at least one), such as:

  • Phaser

• Experience with game development
  
  Backend Communication:
• REST APIsWebSockets
• Experience with event-driven approaches

Responsibilities:

• Writing high-quality front-end code
• Close collaboration with business stakeholders and UI/UX designersImplementing both
• React UI and game-related visual elements within the canvas
• Providing feedback to the project team and suggesting better solutions
• Sharing knowledge and mentoring less experienced developers
• Co-developing front-end architecture, suggesting (and justifying) new technologies and solutions that can improve efficiency
