Test Automation Engineer

We’re looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join our team!

In this role, you will be responsible for testing both the backend and frontend of a modern platform focused on e-sports. You’ll play a key part in shaping our testing processes, analyzing requirements, and ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.

Your work will directly contribute to identifying issues, reporting bugs, and ensuring our solutions are not only functional but also deliver a great experience to end users.

Location

This offer targets candidates from Tricity (Gdańsk, Gdynia, Sopot) or nearby areas.
We do not require a constant presence in the office, but the candidate should be available for on-site visits twice a week.

What you’ll be doing?

As part of your role, you will:

• Setting up and maintaining test environments
• Creating test scenarios and test cases
• Identifying, documenting, and diagnosing bugs and root causes
• Writing and maintaining automated tests (API and UI)
• Reviewing results from automated regression testing and taking necessary action
• Analyzing documentation and requirements
• Collaborating closely with business stakeholders – validating ideas and proposing improvements

Who we’re looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial software testing
• Experience with integration, acceptance, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
• Hands-on experience with test automation (both UI and API)
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge
• Passion for learning new technologies and expanding domain expertise
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Good knowledge of JIRA and Git
• Required knowledge of C#; familiarity with another programming language that allows writing automated tests is a plus.
• Familiarity with Playwright or similar UI testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Understanding of CI/CD principles
• Ability to prioritize issues based on business impact
• Intermediate English skills
