Senior Test Automation Engineer

In this role, you’ll work on both frontend and backend test automation. You’ll help shape our testing processes, support manual testers as needed, and mentor others as they enter the world of automation. Knowledge sharing is part of our DNA- so if you enjoy helping others grow, you’ll fit right in.

This position is open to candidates from all over Poland.
What you‘ll be doing
As part of your role, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and automating test scenarios and cases in C#
- Preparing and maintaining test environments
- Reporting and diagnosing issues
- Reviewing and analyzing documentation
- Sharing knowledge and mentoring team members
- Proposing tools and improvements for our QA processes
- Collaborating closely with developers to improve code quality
- Defining and implementing automation strategies
Who are we looking for?
- 4+ years of commercial experience in software testing
- Strong proficiency in C# and understanding of design patterns
- Hands-on experience with test automation (preferably in C# or another OOP language)
- Experience building test frameworks from scratch in C#
- Proven ability to design and implement test architecture for both API and UI
- Experience refactoring and optimizing test performance and stability
- Familiarity with different testing levels: acceptance, regression, smoke, sanity, performance
- Practical experience with Playwright (e.g., end-to-end testing, reporting tool integrations)
- Experience with API testing (contract testing, mocking with WireMock)
- Knowledge of testing strategies in CI/CD environments (smoke, regression, integration)
- Comfort working in microservices architectures
- Proficiency with Git and SQL
- Solid grasp of CI/CD concepts
- Strong communication skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently
- Intermediate English (spoken and written)
- Experience analyzing test metrics and optimizing coverage
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and deepen domain expertise
- A willingness to share your knowledge with the team
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle
- Understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
